Aunque el frío no empezó, no puedo evitar ponerme a pensar en abrigos, sweaters y botas, y estoy segura que no soy la única. Una de las cosas que encabezan mi lista para esta temporada es el tapado tipo Montgomery, un clásico que vuelve con más fuerza este invierno. Lo pudimos ver en las temporada pasada de las principales marcas internacionales como Miu Miu y Rag&Bone, usado por bloggers y fashionistas de todo el mundo y ahora, en los lookbooks de las marcas nacionales como Rapsodia y María Cher. Suelto o entallado; largo y corto; en camel (color top de la temporada), rojo, azul... hay para todos los gustos.

Even though cold days haven't started yet, I can't avoid daydreaming of coats, sweaters and boots, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. One of the things that is at the top of my wishlist is the toggle or duffle coat (don't know what's the difference, tell me if you do). We saw it at last season collection of mayor brands like Miu Miu and Rag&Bone, wore by bloggers and fashionistas all over the world and now, at Argentinean lookbooks such as Rapsodia and María Cher. Loose or fitted; long and short; in light brown, red, blue... there's one for every taste.

Rachel Bilson es una de las celebrities más fashion del momento, y ahora es la nueva cara de los helados Magnum. Dandole la bienvenida a la época estival, Rachel va a protagonizar 3 cortos publicitarios para la marca, dirigidos nada más ni nada menos que Karl Lagerlfeld. También va a acompañar a Rachel el modelo Baptiste Giabiconi, considerado por Karl como uno de sus "musos".Los anuncios van a ser presentados oficialmente el 21 de abril en el Festival de Cine de Tribeca en Nueva York y en la página de Magnum.

La campaña promete mucho, en palabras de la actriz: "Los films capturan la indulgencia y lujo de los helados Magnum. Mis personajes creen que un día sin placer es un día perdido y esa es la representación perfecta del estilo de vida Magnum y mi filosofía personal también".

Para festejar el estreno de los spots, Polyvore lanzó un concurso cuyo premio es un viaje para asistir a la presentación en el Festival de Tribeca. Todo lo que tienen que hacer, es crear un set en el mini editor que van a encontrar más arriba, armando un look que acompañe a Rachel Bilson en la alfombra roja. Hay tiempo hasta el 4 de abril y el ganador va a ser anunciado el 11.

Antes de empezar a crear algunas cositas:

- Tenés que tener una cuenta de Polyvore para participar. Es fácil y gratis registrarse, solamente tenes que ingresar tu mail luego de hacer click en el botón de PUBLICAR. Si nunca hiciste un set acá vas a encontrar algunos tips.

- Tenés que usar al menos uno de los helados Magnum.

- Publica tu set y listo! Ya estas participando.

Welcoming the spring/summer season, Rachel is starring 3 films for the brand, directed by the iconic Karl Lagerfeld. Also, with Rachel will appear the model Baptiste Giabiconi, considerate like one of Karl’s muses. The commercials will be officially presented on the Tribeca Film Festival and the Magnum facebook page the 21^st April.

To celebrate the launch of the films, Polyvore is running a contest which prize is a trip to New York to assist to the Tribeca Festival! All you have to do is create a set using the mini editor you'll find up and creating a red-carpet look for Rachel Bilson. You have time until April 4th.

Before starting, some info:

- You need a Polyvore account to participate. It's easy and free to sign up, all you have to do it's enter your email after clicking on the PUBLISH button. If you've never made a set before, here you'll find some tips.

- You must use at least one Magnum ice cream.

- Publish your set and done!

- You can enter as many times as you want.

Fall Wishlist: Red Pants

Para los del hemisferio norte esto no va a ser mucha novedad, pero para el resto que recién estamos entrando al otoño, los pantalones rojos prometen ser uno de los items infaltables para la temporada. Tanto en cuero como en gabardina, se los pudimos ver a Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham y Anna Dello Russo tanto combinado con negro, como con beige o estampas. Yo personalmente no me animo a los de cuero pero tengo un par de gabardina que usaba en la secundaria que pienso aggiornar. Y ustedes? Les gustan estos pantalones o pasan de largo esta tendencia?

For you at the north hemisphere this may be no novelty but for the rest of us who are entering fall, red pants promise to be a must have item for the new season. In denim or leather, we could see Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham and Anna Dello Russo rocking their red pants, combined with colors such as black, beige or crazy prints. I personally don’t dare to wear the leather ones but I have an old pair I used to wear to school that I’m thinking to rescue. And what about you? Do you like these pants and pass by this trend?

Hansel & Gretel

Hoy navegando sin rumbo por la web, me encontré con estas imágenes espectaculares, como siempre, de Annie Leibovitz, inspiradas en la historia de Hansel y Gretel. De la mano de una genia de la moda, como Grace Coddington y con Lily Cole junto a Andrew Garfield (mi último amor platónico desde que vi Never Let me Go) personificando a los dos protagonistas del cuento, más la aparición de Lady Gaga como la bruja mala, ya se pueden imaginar lo que son estas fotos! Realmente un espectáculo para la vista y la imaginación.

Today browsing the web, I found these Annie Leibovitz's spectacular (as always) images, inspired by the story of Hansel and Gretel. By the hand of a fashion genius and legend, Grace Coddington and with Lily Cole and Andrew Garfield (my last crush since I saw Never Let me Go) as the two main characters, plus the special appearance of Lady Gaga as the bad witch, you can already picture what these photos are! A unique show for the eyes and the imagination.
